Silicone Rubber Cord Solid

Silicone cord offers the ability to create custom length gaskets and joined O-rings with the unique characteristic of silicone rubber. Silicone is the preferred material choice for the food, beverage and medical industries due to its low-toxicity, thermal stability and resistance to micro-bacterial growth. Its ability to remain flexible at extreme temperatures makes it suitable for conditions ranging from -60°C to 230°C. The complete Polymax silicone cord collection is compliant with the following approvals: FDA Standard 21 CFR 177.2600, BFR XV, EU 1935/2004, WRAS, FAR 25/ JAR 25/ CS 25 Horizontal Flammability Tests, Automotive Standard Part 5 571MVSS302, REACH and RoSH.

Extreme temperatures -40°C to +200°C. Good electrical resistance and insulation properties.
