We're seeking an experienced Internal Sales person to join our thriving sales team based in our Bordon office. This role offers a unique opportunity for a results-oriented individual with strong analytical and people skills to carve a successful career in sales.

Are you a good fit?

  • You have at least three years of sales experience selling within engineering or manufacturing industries
  • You are within a reasonable commute distance from Bordon (GU35 0FJ) or willing to relocate
  • You have a passion for technical sales and a willingness to learn.
  • You have a passion for building relationships and exceeding customer expectations.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • You possess strong numeracy skills and enjoy applying them to solve problems.
  • You're eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow key customer accounts, fostering strong relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, demonstrating strong business acumen.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from lead generation to order fulfilment. (We do not believe in 'cold calling' at Polymax)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to achieve shared goals.

Growth and Development:

This role provides a springboard for career advancement at Polymax. You'll gain valuable experience in technical sales, potentially progressing to manage large accounts, participate in company-wide projects, and even assume leadership roles within the organisation.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally have held a technical sales role within engineering or manufacturing industries
  • Graduate with a degree in a relevant discipline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
