Rubber Cords

Polymax offers solid rubber cords in NBR, Viton®, silicone and sponge cords in neoprene(CR) and silicone. We can advise on the suitablity of polymers, hardness and possibly assist you design team. EPDM

Able to withstand atmospheric conditions; ozone, sunlight UV ageing, moisture, EPDM Rubber Cord is most suitable. Excellent ageing properties and cost effective cord.

NBR

Resistance to petroleum oils, minerals and vegetable oils. Suitable for contact with most common alkalis and acids. NBR cord has a low compression set and are cost effective.

Viton

Polymax Viton® cords offer an excellent resistance to wide variety of corrosive fluids at extreme temperatures (-30°C to +200°C)

Silicone

Ideal for 'Clean room' applications and applications requiring exposure to extreme temperature (-40°C to +200°C). Good arc and carona resistance and electrical insulation properties.

NBR Rubber Cord Kit

Ideal for users needing small quantities of different NBR size cords. Kit supplied complete with splicing kit and glue (To make seals 'on the go').

Viton Rubber Cord Kit

Ideal for users needing small quantities of different Viton size cords. Kit supplied complete with splicing kit and glue (To make seals 'on the go').
