5400 grade meets and exceeds the requirements against Part 9 of BS5400 for materials used in manufacture, installation of bridge bearings.
For applications which require (low hardness) soft rubber with excellent mechanical properties, ideal where high abrasion resistance is required.
Polymax OPTIMA also has very good mechanical and abrasion resistance properties.
Ideal for contact with animal and vegetable fats and oils, waxes and greases. Resistance to the ageing effects of ozone, sunlight and atmosphere.
Resistance to hydraulic fluids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, mineral oils, silicone, vegetable oils etc
For applications which require low rates of gas permeability, good resistance to chemical attack by acids and alkalis.
Excel all other Polymax rubber sheets in overall resistance to combinations of light, heat, ozone, solvents and aggressive chemicals.
